SPEEDYWINGS · PRIVACY

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the SpeedyWings website, its content, analytics, forms, affiliate links and related online features that link to this policy (the “Site”). It does not govern third-party websites, retailers, platforms or services that you may reach through the Site.

2. Information we collect

Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate geographic area derived from network information, timestamps, link and button interactions, scroll activity and similar technical or usage data.

Information you choose to provide

If you contact us, join a mailing list, participate in a promotion, submit feedback or otherwise provide information, we may receive the information you submit, such as your name, email address and message content. Flavor Lab signup submissions are stored in a separate private Amazon S3 bucket as one JSON object per normalized email address. Each record includes your email as its ID and filename, created_at and updated_at timestamps, submission date, IP address, browser and user-agent data, signup source, and repeat-submission count. This information is used to maintain your requested subscription, record signup activity and help prevent abuse. This signup service stores records but does not send emails. Marketing emails, when enabled, will include a working unsubscribe process.

Purchase information

The current Site does not process payment cards or complete retail transactions directly. If you click an affiliate or retailer link, your transaction occurs on the third party’s service and is governed by that party’s privacy and purchase terms. We may receive aggregated or transaction-related affiliate reporting, such as that a qualifying purchase occurred, but we do not receive your full payment-card details from Amazon through the Associates Program.

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to understand how visitors find and use the Site and to measure content and commerce performance. GA4 may use cookies or similar identifiers and may process information about your device, browser, approximate location, traffic source, pages viewed and interactions. We configure analytics events for activities such as navigation clicks, content clicks, kit clicks, affiliate-link clicks, section views, scroll depth and signup attempts. We do not intentionally send the email address entered into the Flavor Lab form to GA4.

Google processes analytics information under its own terms and privacy practices. Your browser settings, Google-provided controls and certain privacy tools may allow you to limit or block analytics cookies or identifiers.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, scripts or similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure usage, prevent abuse and understand performance. Some technologies are set by third parties whose services we use. You can usually control cookies through your browser or device settings, although disabling them may affect some features.

We do not currently use the Site for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any notices or opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law.

5. Affiliate links and third-party retailers

SpeedyWings participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an affiliate link, you leave SpeedyWings and interact with the retailer. The retailer may collect information, set or recognize cookies, measure referrals and process your purchase under its own privacy notice and terms. Affiliate relationships do not increase the price you pay solely because you used our link.

6. How we use information

We may use information to operate and improve the Site; understand audience interests and site performance; measure which guides, recipes, kits and recommendations are useful; detect errors, fraud or abuse; respond to inquiries; comply with law; protect our rights and users; and, where you have requested it, send communications or administer promotions.

7. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to vendors and service providers that help us operate, host, secure, analyze or improve the Site; to affiliate and commerce partners as part of referral activity; when required by law, legal process or a valid governmental request; when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property or the integrity of the Site; and in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws use broader definitions of “sale,” “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” If our practices become subject to such definitions, we will provide the notices and choices required by applicable law.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including operational, analytical, security, legal and recordkeeping needs. Retention periods may differ by data type and service provider. Third-party services such as Google and Amazon retain information according to their own settings and policies.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

10. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or a copy of certain personal information, and in some jurisdictions to opt out of certain processing or appeal a privacy-rights decision. These rights are subject to legal exceptions and verification requirements. You may also control many cookies through your browser and may unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe method included in those messages if email communications are activated.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not governed by a single universally accepted standard. We do not currently change the Site’s behavior solely in response to a DNT signal except where required by law.

12. International visitors

SpeedyWings is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from another country, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

13. Third-party links

The Site contains links to Amazon and other third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, content or practices of third-party sites. Review the privacy notice of any third party before providing personal information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site, our services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be highlighted through the Site when appropriate.

15. Contact
